ProTran1 in collaboration with several transit agencies has developed a system to address one of the major types of bus accidents plaguing the industry.  “Buses Colliding with pedestrians at crosswalks”

ProTran1 “Safe Turn Alert” gives an audible voice alert to pedestrians at crosswalks when a bus is making a turn.  The system also gives an audible voice alert  to the bus operator to look both ways when making left or right hand turns.  The system  is a passive system and comes on automatically without bus operator’s interaction.

ProTran1 in collaboration with several transit agencies has developed a state-of-the-art system to address several of the major types of safety issues plaguing the bus industry.   Through ProTran1’s work  with the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and in collaboration with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), ProTran1 has focused it’s efforts to develop technologies to help save lives,  Fleet yard mapping and create a new revenue generating system which connects the bus with local businesses by utilizing advanced digital audio system with GSM, CDMA, Wi-Fi, RF and satellite techniques.

The ProTran1 affordable single platform system enables transportation companies to create a Wireless WAN (WWAN) connection to remote assets for a real-time two-way communications to  any vehicle(s).
