The ProTran1 ProCaT was designed to allow transit workers the ability to safely know the presence of DC Voltage on contact wire or messenger wire.  The unit has a digital meter which when activated indicates voltage from 0-1000 VDC Max. Along with having this meter the unit features warning redundancies of two alarms, LEDs in multiple-bank configurations and fusing which protects the unit in case of voltage surges.
