Developed with two features in one.  Dead man to keep the vehicle operators attention and fight fatigue factors and to warn the operator, other vehicles and workers of a potential collision.

As the vehicle is under operation and moving at a speed greater than 5MPH the system becomes active.  The operator has to acknowledge the system every 30 seconds by either the foot peddle or hand pushbutton.  If no acknowledge is given a visual alarm to the cab operator is activated, the system requests additional acknowledgements in 15 and 5 second increments.  If no acknowledgements are given, the  operator is given an audible alarm and at the same time the system goes into full alarm  turning on outside vehicle warning lights and sending a wireless signal to other vehicles, work machines and workers within the potential path of the moving vehicle.
